The majority of the movie does not take place on the surface, as it seems to suggest. While Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is releasing on the 29th of February 2024 as a PS5 exclusive, it’s likely that Square Enix will follow their usual pattern of releasing a PC port further down the line, but there has been no announcement when that will happen just yet.
